Can anyone recommend where to stay whilst in California’s Wine Country?

We are looking at a short visit to perhaps the Napa area as we will be in San Francisco before heading furthe south. It will be our honeymoon and as British tourists it’s sometimes hard to know where to go without missing something fab. Can anyone help? Thank you.
